Recognized Expertise for Over 30 Years
Last month, the SML PARIS team had the pleasure of visiting BG's factory alongside its creator, Franck Bichon. Located just a few kilometers from Lyon, this family-owned business has perpetuated a unique expertise in the design and manufacture of mouthpieces, ligatures, swabs, and other essential products for musicians for over 30 years. We were able to discover the various stages of design and production by touring the different sewing or assembly workshops.
We were impressed by the attention to detail, rigor, and passion that drive BG's teams and are proud to collaborate with this French brand that shares our values.
Comprehensive and Durable Accessory Kits
The teams at SML PARIS and BG worked together to define all the useful accessories for starting music and maintaining one's instrument.
On all SML range instruments (except for Series 50, 200, 300, and prescription instruments), you will find swabs, ligatures, drying swabs, and mouthpiece patches.
All microfibers are machine washable at 30°C and can be washed over 1000 times without pilling, fraying, or scratching the instrument. A real asset to ensure the reliability of your instrument over time, as well as to stay healthy, away from microbes and fungi that develop in poorly cleaned instruments.
